No, this isn’t about baseball. No, it isn’t about eating either. This is about how important it is for us to step up and own our actions. As we go through life, we begin as accepting small individuals, ready for all experiences until we are told to be afraid, to be careful, to censor ourselves. It is at this point that we let what others tell us to direct the course of our lives.
It happens. I got some bad news yesterday. A project I was ready to hit the ground running with seemed to have hit a snag, a big one. I contemplated just throwing in the towel. It was a project that evolved from a previous project that I had partnered with a friend on. This was going to be a big step for me to take the work I had done with him to a new level. I had enlisted the help of some other individuals and we were looking at a venue for our launch. We had chosen one, had received cooperation, and were close to taping on the new radio show. All of a sudden, one of the co-hosts I thought I was going to have backed out, another one was having difficulty in finding time to even get the initial discussions going, and now, the venue would be closed.
Something To Ponder
